Updates to the Spring 2026 Academic Calendar

A message from the Office of the Registrar

January 30, 2026

Greetings Terps!

I am pleased to announce that the Office of the University Registrar (OUR) has updated the Spring 2026 academic calendar in recognition of the disruptions caused by the campus closure.

Most notably, our Schedule Adjustment period (drop/add), refund deadlines for course withdrawal, and Mandatory Waitlist Check-In have been extended.

Please note that while registration deadlines in the first part of spring semester have shifted, scheduled breaks and Commencement dates remain unchanged.

You can view the most current information on the Spring Semester Calendar.

If you have questions, please contact us by email, call (301) 314-8240, or visit the OUR website to use our 24/7 chatbot.

Thank you for your patience as we worked on determining these extensions, and best wishes for a successful Spring semester!

Sincerely,

Adrian R. Cornelius, Ed.D
University Registrar
