Once again, we’ve been recognized as a top 20 public university in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. This year, we are especially proud to say that we have achieved our highest overall ranking at No. 44—rising 20 spots since 2020—and our highest ranking in over a decade among public universities at No. 17.
We are pleased to share a new online resource for our undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, and parents and families. The new mental health website is a collection of mental health and well-being resources available to our community on a variety of topics, including crisis support, counseling, academics, wellness and connection.
Welcome to the fall 2024 semester! As we reflect on the previous year and look ahead, it’s hard to imagine a more important time than now—in a year where community and civic engagement should be at the forefront of our minds—for us to truly embrace the vision we’ve set forth to dedicate ourselves to the public good.
Mirroring the state of Maryland’s ambition to be a leader in this domain, we are proud to announce the new Artificial Intelligence Interdisciplinary Institute at Maryland (AIM), dedicated to developing the next generation of artificial intelligence education, technology and leaders.
