Meeting and Event Space

The Office of the Provost operates meeting and event space, which can be requested directly through this site. Space may only be used for meetings and events related to the university’s academic mission, and are not able to be reserved for unrelated and/or personal purposes. Priority will be given to meetings and events that are directly academic-related. Classes are not permitted to be scheduled.


 

Anacostia Building - Exterior

The Anacostia Building (formerly the American Center for Physics) is located in the Discovery District adjacent to the campus. The new space connects UMD’s flagship researchers with College Park’s growing Discovery District. The building is located at One Physics Ellipse Dr, College Park, MD 20740.

Exterior of the Edward St. John Teaching and Learning Center

The Edward St. John Learning and Teaching Center (ESJ) features fourteen general-purpose classrooms and nine state-of-the-art chemistry teaching labs, complemented by a wide variety of informal collaborative learning and study spaces throughout the building. All fourteen TERP Classrooms are designed to support active-learning/team-based pedagogies.
