Meeting Schedule and Publication Deadlines

VPAC meetings are routinely scheduled for 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. on the 2nd Friday of each month. Meetings are generally held online.

The VPAC calendar is available as a shared Google calendar. Find it by typing "VPAC Calendar" in the Google calendar search box.

Remember to allow time for review by your college PCC committee and dean. Proposals must be received in Academic Affairs at least two weeks in advance of a scheduled meeting to be included on the agenda. Please note that any proposals received after the deadline for the May meeting will be held until the next VPAC meeting in September.

• Fall Schedule of Classes and Advance Registration 
  Course listings become available on Testudo approximately the third week in February for the next academic year. Course proposals must be reviewed and approved at the March meeting in order to be in place for advance registration. Course modification proposals that further restrict student eligibility (adding a prerequisite, a corequisite, or restriction) must be reviewed and approved no later than the March meeting in order to apply to the fall semester. Such proposals that are presented at the April or May meetings will be reviewed but final approval will be held until after the fall term drop/add period.
• Spring Schedule of Classes and Advance Registration 
  Course listings become available on Testudo approximately the third week in September. Changes must be reviewed and approved at the October meeting in order to be in place for advance registration. Course modification proposals that further restrict student eligibility (adding a prerequisite, a corequisite, or restriction) must be reviewed no later than the October meeting in order to apply to the spring semester. Such proposals that are presented at the November, December, and January meetings will be reviewed but final approval will be held until after the spring term drop/add period.
• Undergraduate Catalog
  Proposals can be heard no later than the May VPAC meeting for inclusion in the next year's academic catalog.
• Workday Student Freeze Periods
  As we transition to Workday Student, course proposal approval timelines will be impacted by Workday Student freeze periods. See our Workday Student page for more information on the freeze periods.
