We are thrilled to announce that the University of Maryland has once again been named one of the top 20 public universities in the nation, climbing to No. 16 in U.S. News & World Report's Best Colleges rankings. We have also achieved our highest-ever overall ranking at No. 42, a remarkable rise of more than 22 spots since 2020.

Today marks a pivotal moment as we launch Forward: The University of Maryland Campaign for the Fearless—a $2.5 billion fundraising effort to achieve unprecedented transformation as a top 20 public research university.

We are pleased to announce an investment of nearly $15 million over three years across 11 projects with faculty representing more than 40 disciplines across campus.
