Enrollment Management strives to open doors to quality education, setting the stage for students to become impactful contributors to their communities and the world at large.

Enrollment Management comprises the following offices:

Office of Undergraduate Admissions

Through a comprehensive recruitment and yield process, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions works to identify and interact with talented and diverse students across the nation and around the world to increase their knowledge of and interest in the University of Maryland. The ultimate goal is to encourage their application and enrollment. These interactions are enhanced by outreach efforts and support to counselors, parents, and the the community of individuals who assist prospective students as they navigate the college application process. They are bolstered through an extensive on and off campus visit experience. They culminate in the holistic application review of each of the students who complete the application process. Through our extensive efforts, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions works diligently to enroll students who will thrive in and contribute to UMD’s community and have a positive societal impact upon graduation.

Office of Student Financial Aid

The Office of Student Financial Aid is committed to making an excellent education affordable and provides prospective and current students with guidance and resources to navigate the financial aid process. This office is responsible for the administration of federal, state and institutional financial aid, including a growing donor scholarship portfolio, and for ensuring compliance with guidelines and laws that govern those programs.

Office of the University Registrar

As the perpetual steward for student records, the Office of the University Registrar supports teaching and learning at the university by maintaining the integrity of academic policies and the student information system. The operations conducted in the Office of the University Registrar are compiled into four large categories: the coordination of course and classroom scheduling and registration; the maintenance of students’ permanent academic records; the administration and application of academic policies; and information management, data analysis and reporting.
