Collaborative Implementation Project

In 2014, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) adopted a revised set of Standards of Accreditation and Requirements for Affiliation. They focus on the same key areas as the previous Standards, but are reduced in number and less duplicative.

As part of working collaboratively with member institutions to ensure that the Standards can be interpreted and applied consistently, MSCHE established a “Collaborative Implementation Project” in which 15 institutions meet regularly with the MSCHE staff to share experiences, concerns, and questions as we develop our Self-Study Report. The selected participants represent a wide range of institutions, but all have been accredited for at least 10 years, have a history of success in the peer review process, and have had no signification follow-up requests from MSCHE in the last five years.
